Victim Led Groups

"Who speaks for the victim" conference

Cost: Free

London Action Trust are hosting a conference on the 28th June 2010 in EC2, with The London Probation Services and other key decision makers (such as the police and politicians) that aims to help these key decision makers:

  1. Gain a broader understanding of how to meet victim’s needs
  2. Explore the effect/impact of violence on victims
  3. Identify strategies that help reduce the numbers of people who become victims or offenders

This will be a great opportunity to meet key decision makers, influence future policy and victim support work, and help these key decision makers understand the specific needs of victims and the resources you (or the organisation you work with) need to meet those needs.
