Race Equality Councils

This page lists racial equality councils (RECs) and other similar organisations in the London region.

The range of services provided by individual RECs varies, but all will be able to provide you with expert information and advice about your rights, and many offer legal assistance where appropriate.

Many also provide training to local businesses on race equality, organise local workshops and cultural events, and work with local service providers, including councils, police and schools, to help ensure that the needs of all sections of the community are taken into account in local decision-making.
