CSAS is now able to offer individual support to voluntary and community groups working in the field of community safety and crime reduction.
CSAS can offer individual support around the following areas:
To qualify for individual support groups must demonstrate that they have a clear link with community safety and crime reduction. CSAS anticipates a high demand for its individual support service therefore priority will be given to groups that meet one of more of the additional criteria below criteria below and where the support requested cannot be obtained through other means i.e. local Council for Voluntary Service.
Individual support appointments will be made on the basis of staff time availability and therefore the number of appointments available may vary from month to month.
Within the above criteria CSAS will endeavour where ever possible to ensure a balance between support given to inner and outer London Boroughs and to ensure an even geographical spread.
When considering requests for individual support CSAS will also take into account the urgency of any request and the potential sustainability of projects supported.
Groups who are interested in receiving individual support but are unsure if they meet the criteria should call CSAS for an initial discussion.
CSAS will endeavour to provide telephone advice to those it is unable to support and to point groups we are unable to help on to other sources of support.
CSAS will review its individual support policy every 6 months in-line with clients' needs and developments within the field.
